Last year, DECA students at West Valley High School assisted Mary Pat in branding and promoting the WestV Style free clothing closet. Mary started the project a few years earlier.

The goal with branding and promoting was to increase awareness of the services among the WVHS students, increase donations, and brand the store as a place where students can acquire “gently used” and “trendy” clothes that appeal to teenagers.

This year, the students took up the additional task of setting up a permanent store so that students have the opportunity to shop for their wardrobe as if they were at the mall.

The West Valley High School DECA students celebrated the grand opening of the store on November 18th, 2018.
